Well, the results of the election are in, and a new admin has been chosen!
*drumroll*
Everyone please welcome JoshuaJSlone AND Riyu-Hime as our two new admins! Yay!
I was planning originally on only picking one admin, but since we only had two nominees anyway, I just figured, hey, the more the merrier, right? ;)
Now I'm not gonna lie, I was a bit disappointed with the lack of participation in the admin election compared to the bureaucrat nomination from earlier this year. Granted, I did set restrictions on voting this time, but most of our active users fit those requirements anyway so I didn't think it would cause a problem.
I totally understand not having many nominees, as I know at least a couple of you don't want to do it due to scheduling or simply not wanting the responsibility and I'm fine with that. But come on, y'all, where are the voters?
IDK, maybe Maopyon is just better at getting people excited for new stuff…
*sigh* But I digress…
Anyway, I'm really happy that we now have TWO new admins to help share the load, (and the fun!), of keeping this Wiki running smoothly.
Joshua is freaking amazing, guys. He really knows his way around the wiki, and is far more skillful than I at editing templates. He's also really nice and makes sure to see both sides of an argument, which may or may not be considered a flaw in some cases, but I suppose it's needed to balance out my bossiness. XD
Riyu may lack a bit of self-confidence, but she has actually been very helpful and she's one of those users that I think I would be lost without. XD She's very good at spotting problems and devising ways to fix them, and I really believe that she will be a good addition to our team!
