On March 13, Triplet was formed as a SATOYAMA & SATOUMI movement unit. The unit officially debuted at the Hinamatsuri festival.

Trivia[]
- All members have blood type A.
- Kudo Haruka is the only member in this unit to not have dyed hair.
- This is the first unit to feature Kudo Haruka and Takagi Sayuki since joining Morning Musume and Juice=Juice.
- Okai Chisato is the only member in this unit to have not been part of Hello Pro Egg.
- Unlike previous SATOYAMA & SATOUMI movement units, Sato no Akari, Triplet, and ODATOMO's profiles were never added to the official website, and their music videos were never officially uploaded to YouTube.
