Tashiro Sumire (田代すみれ) is a Japanese pop singer. She is a former idol under Hello! Project as a member of OCHA NORMA.
She graduated from OCHA NORMA and Hello! Project on March 11, 2025 and also departed from UP-FRONT PROMOTION due to her health conditions.[1]

Early Life[]
Tashiro Sumire was born on June 16, 2005 in Kanagawa, Japan.
2021[]
On December 12, Tashiro joined the lineup of OCHA NORMA after she won the Hello! Project Shin Member Audition 2021 along with Tsutsui Roko.
2022[]
On June 10, she celebrated her 17th birthday at a fanclub event titled OCHA NORMA Hiromoto Ruli・Tashiro Sumire FC Event 2022, featuring two shows at LANDMARK HALL in Kanagawa.
On November 16, it was announced that Tashiro, Tsutsui Roko, Saito Madoka, Yonemura Kirara, and Nakayama Natsume had tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, the November 19 and 20 shows of the OCHA NORMA First Live Tour 2022 ~Start Dash!~ were cancelled.[2] On November 24, an update revealed that the four OCHA NORMA members had completed their treatment period and tested negative for the virus after doing a new antigen test. Tashiro although, would remain resting to fully recover from the virus, and as a result, she would be absent the November 26 and November 27 concerts of OCHA NORMA's tour, and the two release events of the group's second single on November 24 and November 25 that she would participate were postponed.[3] On November 28, a new update revealed that Tashiro resumed her activities after completing her treatment period.[4]
2023[]
On June 19, Tashiro celebrated her 18th birthday at a fanclub event titled OCHA NORMA Tashiro Sumire Birthday Event 2023, featuring two shows at LANDMARK HALL in Kanagawa.
2024[]
On June 13, Tashiro celebrated her 19th birthday at a fanclub event titled OCHA NORMA Tashiro Sumire Birthday Event 2024, featuring two shows at Hikifune Culture Center in Tokyo.
On September 5, it was announced that she had been diagnosed with adjustment disorder and would be taking a month-long hiatus in order to rest and receive hospital treatment.[5]
On September 30, it was announced that that Tashiro Sumire needs to continue resting and outpatient treatment. Under medical guidance, her activities with OCHA NORMA will be suspended until the end of November.[6]
On December 4, an announcement was released stating that while her condition has improved, Tashiro still required treatment and would be absent from activities until cleared by a doctor.[7] She also posted a blog entry apologizing for her absence stating that since she has been feeling better, she'll try to update from time to time.[8]
2025[]
On March 11, it was announced that Tashiro would be immediately graduating from OCHA NORMA and Hello! Project without a graduation ceremony due to her health conditions. Although her health condition has improved, she was still uncertain about being able to continue her activities with OCHA NORMA, and after discussing with her parents, she has decided to leave the group and terminated her contract with UP-FRONT PROMOTION as well.[1]

| This is Tashiro Sumire.
I was diagnosed with adjustment disorder and have been on hiatus since last September. I am truly sorry for making everyone worried. After a lot of thought during my time off, I realized that it would be difficult for me to continue my activities with OCHA NORMA given my current mental and physical condition. As a result, I have decided to graduate from OCHA NORMA and Hello! Project. I apologize for this sudden announcement. I joined Hello! Project at the age of 16, which had always been my dream, and I am truly grateful for being able to work hard as a member of OCHA NORMA for the past three years. Even though I had no prior experience, I was able to give my all and make it this far thanks to the support from all of you. I am genuinely thankful from the bottom of my heart. The three years I spent with OCHA NORMA are irreplaceable memories for me. I am really sorry that I couldn't speak to you directly, and that I have to graduate while still being on hiatus. I know this may cause various feelings among everyone, but I've made this decision after seriously considering my mental and physical state to the very last moment. Through my time with OCHA NORMA, I have learned so much and gained invaluable experiences. Every day of my activities has made me realize how much I love this job. I am filled with gratitude for everyone who has supported me. Moving forward, I hope to make the most of these experiences and continue progressing in my own way. I am truly grateful to have met all of you. Thank you so much for supporting me until now. I will always, always love you all.

She has two older sisters. One is named Tashiro Hikari, who is an actress and former member of bandol group Le Lien.
When Tashiro joined OCHA NORMA, she was in her first year of high school. As of March 2024, she graduated from high school.
Tashiro gets along best with Tsutsui Roko in OCHA NORMA.
