Sugihara Meisa was born on December 20, 2011 in Hyogo, Japan.
2024[]
On February 7, it was announced that Sugihara had joined Hello Pro Kenshuusei alongside Shimakawa Hana, Asano Yurika, Miyakoshi Chihiro, Nishimura Itsuki, Soma Yume, Otsubo Mano, Yoshida Hikari, and Hattori Rua.
On May 4, Sugihara won the judge's dance award at the Hello! Project Kenshuusei Happyoukai 2024 ~Haru no Koukai Jitsuryoku Shindan Test~ event for her performances of "Boogie Woogie LOVE" and "RED LINE".

When Sugihara joined Hello Pro Kenshuusei, she was in her sixth year of elementary school.
Sugihara is good friends with Hello Pro Kenshuusei members Hattori Rua and Yoshida Hikari since the audition. Sugihara and Yoshida's pairing name is Hikamei (ひかめい).
