SI☆NA before Nakayama Nana's graduation

SI☆NA was a Japanese pop group under Hello! Pro Kansai composed of four winners from the 2005 Hello! Project Kansai Audition. They derived their group name based on the first letter of their surnames:

Suma Ai
Iwashima Manami
Nakayama Nana
Abe Asami

SI☆NA appeared in many mediums, including radio, television, and on stage. They also specialized in Kansai-centered activities. Also the whole of the trainee group were members of the unit HAPPY! STYLE.

In July, it was announced that Nakayama Nana would be graduating from SI☆NA and her last Hello! Project performance would be on July 25. She graduated in order to concentrate on school.

On July 24 and 25, SI☆NA participated in the Kobe shows of Hello! Project 2010 Summer ~Fankora!~. They performed their song "FrankincenseΨ."

"FrankincenseΨ" was meant to be SI☆NA's debut single, with mentions of an MV filming and planned released during the spring and summer of 2010 by the members on SI☆NA's official blog. They officially premiered the planned single on July 24th at a Hello! Project concert tour as an opening act and performed it on the 25th and 26th as well.

On March 1, it was announced that the group would disband in April.

On April 17, the group disbanded and all members left both HAPPY! STYLE and Up-Front Style.

Original SongsEdit

  • "FrankincenseΨ" was originally a SI☆NA song, but it was never released until Natsuyaki Miyabi covered it in Partenza.
