Trivia[]
- Yoshizawa Hitomi and Kusumi Koharu's roles are based on Duke Duralumin and his son Plastic from the original manga, though their characters are unnamed in this adaptation. Baron Nylon, Duralumin's loyal henchman, retains his name.
- The character names in Act II are derived from kanji in the surnames of their respective performers:
- Trois, played by Miyoshi Erika, is French for "three" (三).
- Colline, played by Okada Yui, is French for "hill" (岡).
- Nouveau, played by Niigaki Risa, is French for "new" (新).
- Torteau, played by Kamei Eri, is French for "turtle" (亀).
- Rue, played by Michishige Sayumi, is French for "road" (道).
- Rizière, played by Tanaka Reina, is French for "rice field" (田).
- Konno Asami was listed in an early advert for the musical's announcement, but she did not participate due to officially graduating from Morning Musume on July 23, 2006.
- Due to the month-long run of the musical, several cast members who were also part of Gatas Brilhantes H.P. (such as Ishikawa Rika, Yoshizawa Hitomi, Tsuji Nozomi, and Fujimoto Miki) were unavailable for the Odaiba Bouken Ou Skylark Tournament that was happening at the same time. This led to the creation of the team Mix Gatas to participate in their place.
- Tsuji Nozomi injured her right foot during Hello! Project's 2006 summer concert tour a month earlier. She still appeared in the musical with decorated crutches for her Act II role, but had to withdraw from the ensemble in Act I.
- Morning Musume and Takarazuka Revue collaborated again in 2008 with Cinderella the Musical, with Ebira Kaoru also returning.
- Ribbon no Kishi would be referenced during a segment on Tezuka Osamu's works in Morning Musume's 2011 musical, Reborn ~Inochi no Audition~.
