ONDAS (waves) is Iida Kaori's fifth album. It was released on July 20, 2016, and is her first solo album in 11 years. The album is sung entirely in Portugese and contains covers of famous Brazilian songs from the music genre Bossa Nova. "Morning Coffee" is the only song sung in Japanese.

This track is a cover of Brazilian singer and song writer Antonio Carlos Jobim's "Wave" (also known as "Vou Te Contar") from 1968. The song was voted by the Brazilian edition of Rolling Stone to be the 73rd greatest Brazilian song.

Mas Que Nada

This track is a cover of a song written and originally performed by Jorge Ben on his debut album, which in a later cover version became the signature song of Sergio Mendes. The song was voted by the Brazilian edition of Rolling Stone as the 5th greatest Brazilian song. The song was inducted to the Latin Grammy Hall of Fame.

"Corcovado" (known in English as "Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars") is a bossa nova song written by Antônio Carlos Jobim in 1960. The title refers to the Corcovado mountain in Rio de Janeiro.
