On March 13, ODATOMO was formed as a SATOYAMA & SATOUMI movement units. The unit officially debuted at the Hello! Project Hina Fest 2014 ~Full Course~ event on March 29.

Group Name Origin

The unit name is a combination of Oda's family name and "Tomo" in Kanazawa's given name.

• Both members were former Hello Pro Kenshuusei.
• This unit was one of only two SATOYAMA movement units that has member colors, the other being DIY♡.
• Unlike previous SATOYAMA & SATOUMI movement units, Sato no Akari, Triplet, and ODATOMO's profiles were never added to the official website, and their music videos were never officially uploaded to YouTube.
