Nandaka Sentimental na Toki no Uta / SaiKIYOU (なんだかセンチメンタルな時の歌/最KIYOU; Song For A Somehow Sentimental Time / The Peak) is Morning Musume '24's 74th single. It was released on August 14, 2024 in 5 editions: 2 regular and 3 limited. The first press of the regular editions includes a random member trading card of 13 kinds depending on the jacket (26 in total), and one random shiny group card.[1]

The Limited Edition SP includes a Blu-ray disc containing live video of the group's performance at COUNTDOWN JAPAN 23/24 held at Makuhari Messe on December 29, 2023 and JAPAN JAM 2024 held at Chiba-shi Soga Sports Kouen on May 3, 2024.

This is the last single to feature 10th generation member Ishida Ayumi.[2]

It was certified gold by the RIAJ, recognizing the sale of over 100,000 copies.[3]

  • The single was announced on May 27, 2024 at the Morning Musume '24 Concert Tour Haru MOTTO MORNING MUSUME。FINAL in Nippon Budokan, where both songs were performed for the first time.[1]
  • This is the first single since "Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game" to not feature Fukumura Mizuki.
  • This is Ikuta Erina and Oda Sakura's first single as leader and sub-leader, respectively.
  • Nonaka Miki is the center for "SaiKIYOU".
  • Kitagawa Rio is the center for "Nandaka Sentimental na Toki no Uta".
  • SaiKIYOU is based on 最器用 (saikiyou; most skilled), and possibly a wordplay with "you".
  • The group's 21st single to peak #1 on Oricon's weekly singles chart. It is also the first #1 single of the 17th generation and first under Ikuta's leadership.[10] Up until this single so far, all 17 generations of the group have at least one #1 single.
  • It is also the group's sixth single to peak #1 on Billboard Japan's weekly Top Singles Sales chart.[4]
