Nakayama Nana (中山菜々) is a former Japanese talent and idol as a member of the Hello Pro Kansai and HAPPY! STYLE group SI☆NA. She graduated from SI☆NA on July 25, 2009. She later auditioned for NMB48's first generation in 2010, where she passed and became a member of Team N under the stage name Yamada Nana (山田菜々). She graduated from NMB48 on April 3, 2015.

2005[]
In October, it was announced that Nakayama Nana, Iwashima Manami, Abe Asami, and Suma Ai passed the "2005 Hello! Pro Kansai Auditions", and would join Hello Pro Kansai as trainees.
2006[]
On August 25, Nakayama and the other winners from the Kansai auditions made their first public appearance, opening a ℃-ute event by performing three Hello! Project songs. They were first announced on "Hello! Pro Yanen" on August 11.
2007[]
In June, Nakayama was a guest presenter for "MJTV Chotto Kiiteyo!".
2008[]
In April 12, it was announced that Nakayama, Iwashima, Abe, and Suma have "graduated" as trainees, and would form their own unit, SI☆NA. Later that year, She joined UP-FRONT STYLE's umbrella group HAPPY! STYLE along with the other SI☆NA members.
2009[]
In July, it was announced that Nakayama Nana would be graduating from SI☆NA in order to concentrate on her studies. Her last performance was on July 25 at the group's joint live event with Okada Yui.
2010-2015[]
In 2010, she auditioned and became a member of NMB48, a sister group of AKB48, under the stage name Yamada Nana. She is a part of NMB48's Team N.
On April 18, 2013, she was transferred into Team M.
On February 24, 2014, she held a concurrent position with SKE48's Team KII. She had also been promoted to Captain of Team M.
On October 15, 2014, she announced that she would be graduating from NMB48. Her concurrency with SKE48 ended on March 26, 2015. She graduated April 3, 2015.
In December 2015, she performed in Super Danganronpa ~Sayonara Zetsubou Gakuen~ THE STAGE as Nanami Chiaki alongside former Hello! Project and Berryz Koubou member Sudo Maasa.
2016[]
In March 2016, she signed with the agency Showtitle.
2021[]
On March 31, 2021, she announced through her Twitter account that she had left her agency Showtitle and she would retire from the entertainment industry.[1]

- Her brother Nakayama Yuma is currently signed to Johnny & Associates, as a soloist and actor.
- Her younger sister Yamada Suzu joined NMB48 as a Kenkyuusei as part of their 5th Generation and is now a member of Team BII. She announced her graduation from the group on September 29, 2020, and she graduated on December 12, 2020, on her 19th birthday.
