Minis?

Minis? (ミニーズ。？) is a unit formed by four of the shortest Hello! Project members at the time of its inception: Yokoyama Reina (Morning Musume '18), Morito Chisaki (Morning Musume '18 / Country Girls), Kamikokuryo Moe (ANGERME), and Funaki Musubu (ANGERME / Country Girls).

They first appeared in the book Complex ni Sayounara! published on October 15, 2018 with former Berryz Koubou member Kumai Yurina.^[1] Following the book's release, the unit performed a song also titled "Complex ni Sayounara!" in the Hello! Project 20th Anniversary!! Hello! Project Hallo! Fes 2018 concerts on October 20 and 21.^[2]^[3] The song was later released on the Petit Best 20 2020 album.

Members[]

The unit's concept is reminiscent of Minimoni's, with both groups consisting of members who are among the shortest in Hello! Project.
The Hello! Project members shorter than Yokoyama Reina (the tallest member of Minis?) when Minis? was formed are Juice=Juice member Inaba Manaka, Ame no Mori Kawa Umi members Takase Kurumi and Kiyono Momohime, ANGERME member Takeuchi Akari, and Tsubaki Factory member Onoda Saori, making all of them short enough to qualify for the unit. CHICA#TETSU member Nishida Shiori is also shorter than Yokoyama Reina.
