It would be nice if you, as an admin, could write what you change when changing a page and why. Then I know why what I add to a page is deleted, which makes it easier for me in the future to know what to add and not :)
I’m assuming this is about the Nakazawa Yuko pages, and a lot of it was organizing things on the page to look neater, removing redundant information, moving things around to better follow the format on our newer pages, and cleaning up the page for grammar. If there’s anything in particular that you’re wondering about, I’ll explain my reasoning behind it.
I am editing on my phone right now, and I don’t usually take the time to write a summary for my changes when I’m using it, so I apologize for that.
I don't know if you've been an admin on any other wiki, but I think most of your new capabilities here will not throw you for too much of a loop. Where once you could choose to Edit a page, now there will be options to Rename, Protect, or Delete. You can now visit the Admin Dashboard and make edits to the navigation bar. One thing I do think is a bit hidden away is if you need to block a user, it's among the options when viewing their Contributions. Feel free to ask one of us if you've got any questions.
Most admin communication is pretty open, but for times when we want a little more privacy (like discussing pros or cons of potential new admins) we usually use a group conversation at Hello! Online because... it works. We've also got an #adminsonly channel on the Discord server, though it's pretty rare for anyone but me to be in there.
Sorry for the late reply, but thank you!! I'm honored, and I'm not sure what to say, I didn't expect to win the audition, so thank you. On a side note, I never use Hello! Online, so I'm going to have to check whether I have an account on there or not...
Kica, if you're logged in then at the top there should be an envelope icon that will take you to private messages. Possibly right now it will be lit up showing unread messages since I've just invited you into our already existing conversation. Anyway, just click on it and you'll be in.
Depending on your settings you can also make it email you when there's a new message there, but the system seems kind of flaky about sending these in a timely manner.
The covers you replaced are the actual covers, perhaps saturated with the colors off, but the actual covers nonetheless. The image you replaced them with are photographs of the singles. There's a difference. if you can maybe find a way to scan the covers of those singles, or maybe find a version of the actual covers with more accurate colors, that would be good. For now, I think it will be better to restore the covers to the way it was before, and then when you have those better covers, you can replace them.
Sorry if I didn't explain it well, if you need more clarification for what I just said, I can try to explain my opinion again. I have work though, so I won't be able to get back to you for several more hours.
After Wada Ayaka’s Graduation, the Hello! Project website changed the ANGERME members official order to be leaders first and then everyone else after, but since this wiki has a history of ordering the members by generation, and since the rest of the pages on the wiki lists the ANGERME members in order by generation, I do think that your Portal template should do the same if for no other reason than to be in accordance with how the rest of the wiki orders the members.
Hey, Kica. I'm not 100% sure why you started deleting lyrics links, but I think they're something useful to have and I've recently checked with the folks at Project Hello to make sure they don't object to the links being there. So please leave them alone from now on?
While I may not be on the wiki as often as I used to, I still have the most edits out of everyone applying this time around. In addition, whenever I am on the wiki, I sometimes go through the pages and categories that need maintenance, a job that could be done easier if I were an admin. Even though I can't promise anything, I want to do my best if I'm chosen as admin.
This is being copy/pasted to all who decided to audition to be an admin. Tomorrow starts the second week of August so I'll put up a second blog entry for discussion to continue with and about you lot. I'd like to include a message from each of you. Consider this your main sales pitch. Why do you want to be an admin, and why do you think other people should want that, too? If that includes stating things the current admins are lackluster at, that's fair game. Just send me your message as a reply here.
I can't promise anything if I become an admin. I have, however, been a user on the wiki for a while, even if I've been away for a while for some of that time. This is an example of a factor that is going in my favor. If anything, though, I'm going to be a senior in high school in less than a month, so I'll be busy with college apps and stuff. In addition, I do not have my own laptop. This message, in addition to anything I've been doing for the past several months, was typed on my iPhone. This is a factor that is going against me.
If I become admin, all I can promise is that I will try my best to give this wiki anything that I have to offer.
And your blog is no longer on private... hehe, I feel like such a stalker but it made me happy to see just one little contribution from you. I miss you, Kica-chaaaannnn! I hope you're doing okay. Love ya! <3
I apologize for the random message I just got excited and I was thinking about you not too long ago so...yeah...
In the UFP page, I did that page a looooong time ago and I forgot to fix it (oops). J.P. Room and Just Pro are different companies. Just Pro is a new company (formed in 2012). In early 2013, they affiliated with J.P. Room, and they took both Kusumi and Mano with them. Transfering members takes a while, which explains why it took forever to remove Ai and Gaki from UFP's page.
