First, I want to say that though your move only fixed it coincidentally, I see what you were going for and it was a good idea. See something is broken, undo a recent change to see if that fixes it. And it did! But in this case the only thing changed was image description text, which shouldn't really make any difference.
So why did it work? It's a weird Wikia error that screws up images on pages, and anything that forces the page to get recreated (like an edit) causes it to rebuild it and give it another chance at getting it right. FriggyEsquire was recently asking about it on the forums, so you can read a bit more about it there, and a simpler way to knock things back to working if you notice more screwed up pages.
(This is FriggyEsquire, unable to sign in) I just wanted to point out that per wiki guidelines, we users can't have ourselves in categories but you have yourself in two - I honestly didn't know it until I was reading the new rules page today and saw it haha. Also, I'm not sure it was intentional but your user page section "ANCL", shouldn't it be ACNL? (I play the game myself ehe.)
By the way, the original thing FriggyEsquire was talking about was users not being categorized. I was surprised to look on the page and not see any categories on the actual page source. On closer examination it's the use of Template:Birth date and age which automatically adds the year and month categories. So I made a copy of it that doesn't do that, Template:Birth date and age nocat, and have made the switch on the handful of people using it on User pages.
Message going out to all auditionees: As usual on week two we'll have a tabber with some information about each of you as well as whatever you want to say about why you think people should consider you as an admin. Just reply here to me with it and I'll paste it in.
almost 1 year ago I joined this wiki, and have helped it (member of the month, and the front and close up picture profiles), and I think I could help even more, I have so many amazing ideas for this wiki! and I want this wiki to keep on growing and growing until we are a known wiki that many H!P fans (and wota) will go to, to search for their favourite members without having to keep on translating. that is why I think I should be a member of the admin ^_^
Hey Otto, it looks like a month ago you changed a bunch of singles' intro paragraphs from having bits like
(好きよ、純情反抗期。; I Love You, Pure Rebellious Age.)
(好きよ、純情反抗期。, Official English title: I Love You, Pure Rebellious Age.)
At least a bunch of S/mileage ones, not sure if you went beyond that. But did you have a reason for that, or were you just trying to match the formatting of later ones? Because there is a difference. In the case of more recent singles they put actual English titles on their YouTube videos and such--for the older ones it's just unofficial translations from fans. Some pages even show an unofficial and official version, because the official ones can be pretty awkward sometimes.
Hello Everyone~!!! it's your friendly neighbourhood Otto~!!! ^-^
I am one of the more newer fans as I've been a fan since 2013 and have not really seen much from all the groups compared to many of you, and I am also a newer member to the wiki having joined in April and younger then most of you that are active as well (having only turned 17 two months ago), but what I lack in history I make up for in enthusiasm and a bubbly personality and my love for graphs and time lines.
Same time in august I auditioned as well, but when I think of my self back then I could tell I wasn't ready for adminship, but when I look at myself now, and what i have done for this wiki I think I will be able to be a good admin for everyone~. As an admin I think will be more able expand my growth in editing further then what I am doing now. Right now my only main edits contribute to trivia and the Hello! Project page as of now, but with more learning I think I can do more and help more. I have a lot of ideas for this wiki and I to see them all on each page and everyone having more fun while looking though the wiki and such. Most importantly I want to learn more form the admins and learn how the do the stuff they do now and help them as well.
To change the URL you need to contact the Wikia staff. Since you don't have many pages yet it might be just as easy to start up a separate one and leave the de. one there in case you want to continue on with a German version.
Having both is pretty easy. Go to the Create New Wiki page, make sure the language is set to English, put in teentop, and it will create a teentop.wikia.com that's separate from de.teentop.wikia.com. I guess it doesn't add the en. since English is considered Wikia's default language.
