Hello! Project Wiki

Frequently, members of groups have colors assigned to them for their concert goods and sometimes outfits. When Wonderful Hearts was founded in 2006, all units and members began to have standard colors. Starting in 2012, member colors became more prominent outside of concerts and have been featured in singles and albums.

Project Mobekimasu and Hello Pro All Stars, Morning Musume's group color was Red. Each Morning Musume member has her own color for outfits and merchandise to distinguish between each member. The members were assigned an official image color starting from their spring 2005 tour onwards. Over time, as each member leaves the group, current or new members have the opportunity to change their current color to a different one which is available. No member has the exact same color, but some might have colors that look fairly similar to another member's.
