History[]

On March 2, 2013 at SATOYAMA e Yukou! ~Forest For Rest~  three SATOUMI Movement units were announced. Alongside Mellowquad, there was also Plumeria (later re-named HI-FIN) and Dia Lady.

They released a single, "Eiya-sa! Brother", in August 2013. They also released a second song, "Burikatsu-kun Ondo", as part of the Gotochi Character Image Song DVD, in March 2014. However, for this song, they were credited as "Okai Chisato with Mellowquad". After this, the unit became inactive.

In March 2016, Mellowquad's profile was deleted from the SATOYAMA movement official website.

Trivia[]

  • All of the members except Okai Chisato were part of DIY♡.
  • The group name comes from the idea of a rich prosperous ocean and the attributes of fairy mermaids, and the fact that there are four members.
  • The members were chosen to have their independent powers come together as one to present a powerful and magnificent performance, like that of a quad-core processor.
  • They were the only SATOUMI Movement unit to have a second song.
