History[]
2004-2005[]
In October 2004, the team got its start when the 15 members of Hello! Project Kids and two futsal trainees from Hello Pro Egg formed a team named "Gatas Youth" for the 2004 Hello! Project Sports Festival. Gatas Youth split up into two smaller teams (Orange and Blue) and played each other at the "Hello! Project SPORTS FESTIVAL 2004" on November 15 and December 5.
In early 2005, several members of Gatas Youth participated in Gatas Brilhantes H.P. practices.
In October 2005, Ishimura Maiha graduated from Hello! Project and, subsequently, Gatas Youth.
2006-2007[]
In February 2006, the team was revived and renamed "Little Gatas" with Arihara Kanna as a new player.
In March 2006, they participated in the Hello! Project SPORTS FESTIVAL 2006, but lost 0-2.
In August 2006, several members of Little Gatas merged together with foreign exchange student Shimmin and a few members of Gatas Brilhantes H.P. to form Mix Gatas. This team was active solely for the run of the Odaiba Bouken Ou Skylark Tournament that summer to fill in for absences in Gatas Brilhantes H.P. Around this time, Tanaka Anri became inactive due to her academic studies.
In October 2006, Murakami Megumi withdrew from Hello! Project and, subsequently, Little Gatas.
In April 2007, Little Gatas was dissolved, and Umeda Erika, Shimizu Saki, Yajima Maimi, Tokunaga Chinami, Sudo Maasa, Natsuyaki Miyabi, Nakajima Saki, Suzuki Airi, and Muto Mika were absorbed by Gatas Brilhantes H.P. as new members.
In May 2007, an exhibition match between Berryz Koubou and ℃-ute was held at the Skylark Group League Gust Stage, where Okai Chisato was promoted to Gatas Brilhantes H.P. as a new player.
In December 2007, Hagiwara Mai and Arihara Kanna were promoted to Gatas Brilhantes H.P. as reserve players.
