Accha Accha Campaign[]

On the single's release day, a special site for "Koi wa Accha Accha" was launched where the start of the Accha Accha Campaign (アッチャアッチャ キャンペーン) was announced.[20][21]

Fans were asked to post photos to Twitter and Instagram or videos to TikTok and YouTube with the hashtag "#アッチャアッチャ". Weeks later, each ANGERME members selected their favorite to share on the special site.

A dance tutorial was taught at the Ikebukuro Sunshine City release event on April 11, 2019, which fans were allowed to record on their smartphones and share on SNS (only the tutorial and not the rest of the mini live).[22]

Trivia[]

  • The single was first announced on The Girls Live on March 4, 2019.[23]
  • The single was released 6 days after the 10 year anniversary of S/mileage's formation.
  • On March 19, 2019, a fan posted a tweet complaining about both A-sides, and Tsunku responded by asking if they were a part of a single.[24] After receiving confirmation from another fan, he responded saying he had actually written a song in honor of Wada Ayaka's graduation.[25]
  • Nakanishi Kana is absent from the music videos' dance shots, which was likely the result of an injury (enthesitis in her left Achilles tendon) she was still recovering from during the presumed time of filming.
  • This is the group's highest first day sales, topping the previous record holder "Tsugitsugi Zokuzoku / Itoshima Distance / Koi Nara Tokku ni Hajimatteru" which sold 33,742 copies on its first day.
  • On April 11, Nakajima Takui held a release event for his self-cover album GIRLS LOOK AHEAD at 3 PM at Ikebukuro Sunshine City exactly two and a half hours before ANGERME held a release event for this single at the same exact venue. Fans were allowed to take photos and videos of their performance of "Koi wa Accha Accha" at the event in hopes of seeing more dance covers uploaded onto TIKTOK and other social media platforms.
  • Wada Ayaka held the ANGERME 26th Single "Koi wa Accha Accha / Yumemita Fifteen" Hatusubai Kinen Event "Wada Ayaka Solo Live" on June 2 at Yokohama Bay Hall to commemorate the single's release.[26][27]
Koi wa Accha Accha
  • According to lyricist Kodama Ameko and composer Hoshibe Sho, "Koi wa Accha Accha" is meant to be a nonsensical but super fun song.[28][29]
  • "Accha" in the title "Koi wa Accha Accha" is a Hindi word (अच्छा) that is an adjective meaning "good" or used as an interjection or exclamation like "oh" or "oh really?".[30]
  • The "Koi wa Accha Accha" music video released in the Limited Edition A DVD, which is 5 minutes and 12 seconds long compared to the Promotion Edit that is only 3 minutes and 40 seconds, includes more interesting scenes and Indian-style shots.[31]
    • The dance shot scenes of both versions are different, with the Promotion Edit version being outside while the DVD version is in a studio with the members dressed with the Indian-style outfits.[32]
    • Hoshibe Sho appears in the music video as a dancer.[33]
  • A "Koi wa Accha Accha" promotional video titled "Koushiki Accha Accha Ouentai" (公式アッチャアッチャ応援隊 ; Official Accha Accha Cheer Team) had its first screening at the Ikebukuro Sunshine City release event on April 11, 2019 and was afterwards uploaded on ANGERME's official YouTube channel.[34] The video uses Hoshibe Sho's own arrangement[35] sung by Mysterious Man H (謎の男H) who stars in it along with ANGERME members Kasahara Momona and Funaki Musubu, Sharam Q's Taisei (who is also ANGERME's recording director), and the following Hello! Project members in order of appearance: Yamaki Risa, Takagi Sayuki, Niinuma Kisora, Wada Sakurako, Haga Akane, Hirose Ayaka, Sato Masaki, Miyazaki Yuka, Tanimoto Ami, and Ozeki Mai. After the screening, Takeuchi Akari jokingly commented that the she has no idea what it was made for.[36]
    • The video is a homage to the Black Curry Arc of the 1970s shounen manga series Houchounin Ajihei. Taisei's appearance is based on the character Hanada Kosaku, nicknamed General Curry, who wears a black mask to cover his sharp nose and creates a black curry using all of the spices in the world including something with an addictive narcotic effect.[37][38]
    • Actor Haruta Atsushi, who portrays Mysterious Man H, appeared as a special guest in the Hello! Project COUNTDOWN PARTY 2019 ~GOOD BYE & HELLO!~, where he performed the "Koushiki Accha Accha Ouentai" version of the song with some Hello! Project members.
Yumemita Fifteen
  • "Yumemita Fifteen" is Wada Ayaka's graduation song. It is a tribute to her 15 year history with Hello! Project, as well as the changes the group went through from their time as S/mileage until they became ANGERME, with the title being a throwback to S/mileage's major debut single "Yumemiru Fifteen".
    • "Yumemita Fifteen" would normally be read as "Yumemita Juugonen", but is officially read as "Yumemita Fifteen". This is similar to "Yumemiru Fifteen" which was written with the kanji for "Juugosai".
    • Fukuda Kanon, who was one of the four original S/mileage members with Wada, wrote the lyrics.[4][5]
    • The song's lyrics and choreography contain references to previous singles throughout their history.[6]
    • The curtain set used for the dance shots is a reference to the one used in "Yumemiru Fifteen".
  • Each member have items in their representative colors and have a scene singing near it. Nakanishi Kana has a light pink dresser, Takeuchi Akari has a blue door, Katsuta Rina has a shelf with orange decorations, Murota Mizuki has a light blue pillow, Sasaki Rikako has yellow drinks, Kamikokuryo Moe has teal wall decorations, Kasahara Momona and Kawamura Ayano have their colors on curtains, Funaki Musubu and Oota Haruka have pillows in their colors, and Ise Layla has light orange flower displays on the wall. As more members are shown in the room, the room gains more props, starting with the second generation up to the seventh generation. Lastly, Wada Ayaka has a red chandelier hanging in the middle of the room.
