Early Life[]
Kitahara Momo was born on August 30, 2006 in Tokyo, Japan.
2019[]
In early 2019, Kitahara took part in the Morning Musume '19 LOVE Audition and made it to the finals, but was not chosen to join the group.
On August 2, it was announced that Kitahara had joined Hello Pro Kenshuusei alongside eight other girls. They were introduced on September 8 at Hello! Project Kenshuusei Happyoukai 2019 9gatsu ~Kirameki~.[1]
2021[]
On May 29, Kitahara won the judge's happy character award at the Hello! Project Kenshuusei Happyoukai 2021 ~Haru no Koukai Jitsuryoku Shindan Test~ event for her performance of "Boogie Train '03".
On July 5, it was revealed at Hello Dream. that Kitahara was added to the new Hello! Project group's line-up, which is scheduled to debut in 2022.[2]
On December 14, she participated in a ENPLEX × Hello! Project Nagoya Teiki Event with Yonemura Kirara and Saito Madoka.
2023[]
On July 4, it was reported that Kitahara was in poor physical condition since the past week prior to the announcement, and after a medical examination at the hospital, she was diagnosed with hyperacusis which requires an outpatient treatment. Since the symptoms vary per day, her progress will be monitored under the diagnosis of the doctor for the time being, and her performance in events and concerts might be limited depending of her condition on the day.[3]
On July 19, it was announced that Kitahara was diagnosed with COVID-19. As result, she would be absent from the release events of OCHA NORMA's 3rd single from July 21 to July 24, and from OCHA NORMA's appearance at the SEKIGAHARA IDOL WARS 2023 -Sekigahara Utahime Gassen- event on July 22.[4]
On August 31, she celebrated her 17th birthday at a fanclub event titled OCHA NORMA Kitahara Momo Birthday Event 2023, featuring two shows at LANDMARK HALL in Kanagawa.
2024[]
On February 3, she was revealed to be a member of the shuffle unit GOODM!X promoting the snack company Kasugai Seika and their candy brand Tsubu Gummy.[5]

On January 2, she opened up an official Instagram account.[6]

She has a younger brother.
When Kitahara joined Hello Pro Kenshuusei, she was in her first year of middle school. As of April 2022, Kitahara is currently in her second year of high school.
