kick start is the first solo album by Shibata Ayumi. The album includes covers of various rock songs and was released on February 19, 2014.

The album peaked at #194 on the Oricon albums chart and charted for one week.[1]

This is Shibata's first release under her new label SMC Entertainment. Prior to this release, she had released three singles and one digital single under Universal Music.

  • Track 9 is a PRINCESS PRINCESS cover. Kaori Okui of PRINCESS PRINCESS was Peachy’s manager. Peachy released three singles before joining Hello! Project as Rika Ishii in 2002.
