2020[]
On November 2, it was announced on ANGERME's YouTube Channel that Kawana had joined ANGERME as a 9th generation member, alongside Matsumoto Wakana and Tamenaga Shion. She and the rest of the 9th generation started performing with the group on December 9, at the ANGERME Concert 2020 ~Kishotenketsu~ Funaki Musubu Sotsugyou Special concert. [1]
2021[]
On December 7, she celebrated her 18th birthday at a fanclub event titled ANGERME Kawana Rin Birthday Event 2021 with two shows at LANDMARK HALL.[2] In compliance with government policy, cheering, crowding, standing, and closeness in the venue were prohibited, and wearing masks were required to enter.
2022[]
On December 9, she celebrated her 19th birthday at a fanclub event titled ANGERME Kawana Rin Birthday Event 2022 with two shows at LANDMARK HALL.
2023[]
On December 5, she celebrated her 20th birthday at a fanclub event titled ANGERME Kawana Rin Birthday Event 2023 with two shows at HIKOSEN Theater.
On December 7, she took part in Hello! Project 25 Shunnen Kinen Special FC Event Vol.3 alongside Oda Sakura, Haga Akane, Yokoyama Reina, Ise Layla, Niinuma Kisora, Yamazaki Yuhane, Saito Madoka and Tsutsui Roko at Yamano Hall. This event covered the 2011-2016 era of Hello! Project's history.
2024[]
On March 28, it was announced that she would appear as a guest for four performances of Taiyou to Ciscomoon 25 Shuunen Special Tour! ~Reiwa de La Ta Ta~.
On December 5, she celebrated her 21st birthday at a fanclub event titled ANGERME Kawana Rin Birthday Event 2024 with two shows at Hikifune Culture Center.

Here is a list of nicknames that was used to refer to Kawana Rin:
- Narin-chan (なりんちゃん): Nickname used by members.
- Keronnu (ケロンヌ): She got it when they shot ANGERME DVD Magazine Vol.29. On the part where they decide nicknames for the new members, she revealed that she likes frogs. There, the senior members started thinking for a nickname that starts with 'Kero' (the equivalent of 'ribbit' in Japanese). Immediately, they thought of affixing 'nnu' at the end just like Hashisako Rin's nickname to Tamenaga Shion, 'Shionnu'. They found it funny and settled for it.
- Kero or Kero-chan (ケロ or ケロちゃん): Nickname used by members.
- Keroppi (ケロッピ or けろっぴ): From the Sanrio character. Used by Takeuchi Akari.
