  • The full title of the single was revealed and the music video for "KOKORO&KARADA" was released on the same day as the Morning Musume '19 Concert Tour Aki ~KOKORO&KARADA~ FINAL held on December 5, 2019.[12]
  • This is their first single to be released in January since "Egao no Kimi wa Taiyou sa / Kimi no Kawari wa Iyashinai / What is LOVE?" on January 29, 2014.
  • This is Morito Chisaki's first single in which she is not a concurrent Country Girls member.
    • Coincidentally, she was the only member to not receive any solo lines in any of the songs on the single.
  • Kitagawa Rio is the only 15th generation member to have a solo line in "Ningen Kankei No way way".
  • "LOVEpedia" and "Ningen Kankei No way way" have the same melody, but different lyrics and arrangements.[1]
    • "LOVEpedia" was written first about a year before the single's release under the title "LOVE Typhoon" (LOVEタイフーン). Kodama Ameko had to change the title due to Typhoon No.19 (Hagibis) at the last minute, but wrote the lyrics for "Ningen Kankei No way way" just in case the new title "LOVEpedia" was not approved.[13][14][15] Hirata Shoichiro was already in the midst of arranging "LOVEpedia" when the office unexpectedly approved "Ningen Kankei No way way" as well.[16]
  • The dance break of "Ningen Kankei No way way" uses the melody of the American folk song "Turkey in the Straw" (known as the "Oklahoma Mixer" in Japan).
  • For the "Ningen Kankei No way way" costumes, the 15th generation members have white accents (example; Yamazaki Mei's white blouse) while the 9th through 11th generation members have black accents (example; Sato Masaki black corset), and the 12th through 14th generation members are only in gray.
  • For the "LOVEpedia" costumes, the 15th generation members have their member colors as accents on their white costumes, while the 9th-14th generation scenes have backgrounds or key items in their respective member colors (example; Makino Maria's pink baseball glove and bat, or Ikuta Erina's yellow-green sparkles from her wand).
  • In the "LOVEpedia" MV, the 9th-14th generation members are each described with a form of love. In order of appearance:
    • Morito Chisaki is Coaching LOVE.
    • Nonaka Miki is World LOVE.
    • Yokoyama Reina is Smiley LOVE.
    • Makino Maria is Baseball LOVE
    • Kaga Kaede is Strong LOVE.
    • Haga Akane is Manic LOVE.
    • Sato Masaki is Wild LOVE.
    • Ikuta Erina is Magical LOVE.
    • Oda Sakura is Harmony LOVE.
    • Ishida Ayumi is Dancing LOVE.
    • Fukumura Mizuki is Big LOVE.
  • Leading up to the single's release, the members did a series of videos on Twitter ranging from revealing secrets and new facts about themselves (Kaga Kaede,[17] Fukumura Mizuki,[18] Ikuta Erina,[19] Makino Maria,[20] and Ishida Ayumi[21]) to using a lie detector test (Morito Chisaki,[22] Haga Akane,[23] Nonaka Miki,[24] Yokoyama Reina,[25] Oda Sakura,[26] and Sato Masaki[27]). They also did a daily photo countdown by generation, starting with the 9th generation and ending with the 15th generation.[28][29][30][31][32][33][34]
  • This single had the highest first day sales since "Tsumetai Kaze to Kataomoi / ENDLESS SKY / One and Only" (124,283) in December 2015.
  • The single was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).[35]
  • This is currently the 13th, 14th and 15th generations highest selling single.
  • This is Morning Musume's first single released in the 2020's.
