Juice=Juice LIVE AROUND 2017 ~World Tour~ was Juice=Juice's 2017 world tour. The first leg ran from September 8 to October 1, 2017 with concerts in Mexico, England, France, Germany, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Taiwan.[1][2] The second leg ran from December 12 to December 17, 2017 in South America.[3]

While Juice=Juice performed full concerts in most cities, they instead performed shorter lives as guests at the following events: the JAPAN x MALAYSIA Friendship Concert 2017 in Kuala Lumpur;[4][5][N1] the Taste of the World festival in Jakarta, Indonesia;[6][N2] the IDOL♡LOVE event in Lima, Peru;[7] and the Sana Fest anime convention in Fortaleza, Brazil.[7]

The DVD was released on March 24, 2018 for fanclub and UP-FRONT WORKS Web Store pre-orders,[8][9][10][11] and it was released for general sale on April 25, 2018.[12] It features the full September 16 live in Paris, France and includes behind-the-scenes footage from the first seven countries.

Yanagawa Nanami and Dambara Ruru did not participate in the London concert past 22:00 due to them both being under 18 years of age.[5]

Trivia[]

  • This was the first time for new members Yanagawa Nanami and Dambara Ruru to perform overseas.
  • This tour was the first time for Juice=Juice to perform in all countries except for Taiwan and the first time for a Hello! Project group to perform in the United Kingdom, Germany, Malaysia, Indonesia, Chile, Peru, and Brazil.
  • It was also the longest overseas tour for a Hello! Project group and the first to have concerts across four continents (North America, Europe, Asia, and South America).
  • The Mexico concert was originally going to take place at Ninshi Hall, but on August 3, 2017 the venue was changed to Foro Indie Rocks!.[13]
  • On September 7, 2017, the same day Juice=Juice arrived in Mexico City, an 8.1 magnitude earthquake hit the southern coast of Mexico. The group was reported to be safe.[14][15]
  • On September 15, 2017, there was an explosion on a London tube train. Staff reported Juice=Juice was not in the affected area and they were all safe.[16] A few hours later, the group left for Paris.[17]
  • The group had microphone problems during the mini concert in Jakarta. Only 4 or 5 microphones were working, which the members had to share and quickly pass to whoever would be singing next.[18]
  • Juice=Juice originally announced they would perform in the United States and Thailand,[19] but neither concert dates nor cancellation of these plans were announced before the tour ended. Juice=Juice did perform in Thailand at Viral Fest Asia 2017 in June, although it was not a part of the world tour.[20]

  1. Premium/VIP tickets for Juice=Juice's full concerts included priority entrance, a special 16-page booklet, and admission to the handshake event before the show.[21][22]
  2. The Zona Fiesta! Fiesta! tickets for the IDOL♡LOVE event in Lima, Peru included the same benefits as Premium/VIP tickets except for the special booklet, which ticket holders instead got to take a photo with the group.[23]
  3. The VIP tickets for Sana Fest in Fortaleza, Brazil had benefits that included all other guests of honor and not only Juice=Juice.[7] Sana Fest VIP tickets allowed admission to the meet and greet and gave access to be at the front of the audience during their show.[24]
  4. ^ Before the JAPAN x MALAYSIA Friendship Concert 2017, Juice=Juice had a meet and greet alongside other performers at Sunway Putra Mall at 14:00.[25] In order to take part, you had to purchase at least one official Juice=Juice merchandise, or at least two to enter a chance to win a photo session with the group.[26]
