Jounetsu Yuki Miraisen (情熱行き 未来船; The Passionate Ship To The Future) is Coconuts Musume's fifth single. It was first announced to be released on January 1, 2001, then postponed and set for a release on February 7, 2001. It was then later postponed as "undecided" before eventually being released on August 22, 2001.[1] The first press of the single came with a sticker sheet.
This is Coconuts Musume's final single despite the group being active for six more years.
This single was released over a year after their previous single. It is also their last single, their first single after switching record labels from Sony Music Entertainment to zetima, their first single without Danielle, their first single to not using M-CO2 as an alternate group name, and their first single with a second track since "DANCE & CHANCE" in 1999.
Mika said in a October 2001 interview that "On our last two singles when it was the four of us, our image was cute and innocent, but our producer says that now we're getting older, and he feels this is more of our image."[2]
