Irie Risa (入江里咲) is Japanese pop singer under Hello! Project as a member of Juice=Juice.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Irie Risa was born on October 18, 2005 in Chiba, Japan.
2021[]
On July 7, Irie was announced as one of the winners of the Hello! Project "Juice=Juice" "Tsubaki Factory" Goudou Shin Member Audition audition and would join Juice=Juice alongside Arisawa Ichika and Ebata Kisaki.[2]
2022[]
On September 5, it was announced that Matsunaga Riai and Irie Risa had been diagnosed with COVID-19. On September 2, Matsunaga had symptoms of fever at night, and the next morning had tested positive by PCR test. After the other members and staff got tested that same day, Irie Risa had also confirmed to have tested positive. They will both focus on treatment under the guidance of local governments and public health centers.[3]
On October 18, she celebrated her 17th birthday at a fanclub event titled Juice=Juice Irie Risa Birthday Event 2022 with two shows at Tower Hall Funabori.[4]
2023[]
On October 17, she celebrated her 18th birthday at a fanclub event titled Juice=Juice Irie Risa Birthday Event 2023 with two shows at LANDMARK HALL.
2024[]
On February 14, she released her first solo photobook, RISAch①.[5]
On July 1, it was announced that she had been diagnosed with panic disorder and would be suspending activities for the time being in order to rest and go to the hospital to concentrate on her treatment. As a result, she was absent from the Hello! Project 2024 Summer ALL OF US tour.[6] On September 12, an update announced that although Irie is gradually feeling better, she would continue with her activities suspended by the end of 2024 as she is still under outpatient treatment.[7]
On December 27, it was announced that Irie would be making full return to her activities from February 2025. She will be absent for the entire Hello! Project 2025 Winter Fes. tour, and continue to rebuild her physical condition throughout January to prepare for her gradual return.[8]
