Hiromoto Ruli (広本瑠璃, also written as Hiromoto Ruri) is a Japanese pop singer under Hello! Project as the sub-leader of OCHA NORMA and a former member of Hello Pro Kenshuusei.
Prior to joining Hello! Project, she was a member and leader of the Actor's School Hiroshima (ASH) units MAX♡GIRLS and Kakumei Shoujo.[1]

Early Life[]
Hiromoto Ruli was born on June 18, 2003 in Hiroshima, Japan.
She was enrolled at Actor's School Hiroshima (ASH) as a 31st generation student.[1][2][3]
2015[]
On December 20, 2015, she joined the ASH unit MAX♡GIRLS.[4][5]
2016-2017[]
In December 2016, Hiromoto entered an audition to become an exclusive model for the Hiroshima fashion magazine COLORFUL. She was announced as one of the four winners and made her first appearance in the May/June 2017 issue.[6][7]
In summer 2017, she entered the Hello! Project Shin Member Audition. She made it to the second round, but failed to become a finalist.[2]
In late 2017, Hiromoto became the leader of MAX♡GIRLS.[8]
2018[]
On May 21, Hiromoto and four other girls in ASH were selected to form the unit Kakumei Shoujo with the main purpose of competing in the annual idol contest, Aidorusai 2018.[9] She left MAX♡GIRLS as a result and was also appointed as the leader of Kakumei Shoujo.[10]
In July, Kakumei Shoujo became the Chugoku/Shikoku regional finalists for Aidorusai 2018.[11] They continued on to the final event held on September 8 at Tokyo Dome City Hall, but they did not win.[12]
2019[]
On May 9, Kakumei Shoujo discontinued activities.[13]
On August 2, it was announced that Hiromoto had joined Hello Pro Kenshuusei alongside eight other girls. They were introduced on September 8 at Hello! Project Kenshuusei Happyoukai 2019 9gatsu ~Kirameki~.[14]
2021[]
On April 20, she participated in a ENPLEX × Hello! Project Nagoya Teiki Event with Yonemura Kirara, Saito Madoka, and Yofu Runo.
On May 29, Hiromoto won the judge's singing award at the Hello! Project Kenshuusei Happyoukai 2021 ~Haru no Koukai Jitsuryoku Shindan Test~ event for her performance of "Dondengaeshi".
On July 5, it was revealed at Hello Dream. that Hiromoto was added to the new Hello! Project group's line-up, which is scheduled to debut on January 2, 2022.[15]
2022[]
On January 27, it was announced that Hiromoto Ruli had tested positive for COVID-19 by antigen test. As a result, the January 29 and 30 shows of the Hello! Project 2022 Winter ~LOVE & PEACE~ tour was cancelled.[16]
On April 9, it was announced during the OCHA NORMA FC Event 2022 ~OCHA NORMA no Ma 2~ that Saito Madoka would be OCHA NORMA's leader, with Hiromoto Ruli becoming the group's sub-leader. The official Hello! Project website was updated to confirm this shortly after the announcement.
On June 10, she celebrated her 19th birthday at a fanclub event titled OCHA NORMA Hiromoto Ruli・Tashiro Sumire FC Event 2022, featuring two shows at LANDMARK HALL in Kanagawa.
2023[]
On June 20, Hiromoto celebrated her 20th birthday at a fanclub event titled OCHA NORMA Hiromoto Ruli Birthday Event 2023, featuring two shows at LANDMARK HALL in Kanagawa.
2024[]
On June 21, Hiromoto celebrated her 21st birthday at a fanclub event titled OCHA NORMA Hiromoto Ruli Birthday Event 2024, featuring two shows at Square Ebara Hiratsuka Hall in Tokyo.

Personal Life[]
She has an older sister.
When Hiromoto joined Hello Pro Kenshuusei, she was in her first year of high school. She graduated from high school in March 2022.
Hiromoto gets along well with ANGERME member Kawamura Ayano. She also is good friends with Juice=Juice member Ishiyama Sakura.
Hiromoto's given name, Ruli, was taken from the title of her mother's favorite song, "Ruri-Iro no Chikyuu" by Matsuda Seiko.[18]

- She is the third Hello! Project member from Actor’s School Hiroshima, after Sayashi Riho and Dambara Ruru.
