Hello Pro Kouhaku Taiko THE☆BATTLE 2019 (ハロプロ紅白対抗 ザ☆バトル2019) is a variety show starring Hello! Project. Through the show, all of the members from Morning Musume '19, ANGERME, Juice=Juice, Country Girls, Kobushi Factory, Tsubaki Factory, and BEYOOOOONDS were split into two teams that competed against each other: a red team called "Team Hello" and a white team called "Team Project".
A Twitter account opened for the show on October 17, 2019, and the show began airing on October 24, 2019 on the dTV Channel's Hikari TV Channel+.
All six episodes from 2019 were compiled in the Hello! Project DVD Magazine Vol.65, and have been re-edited with unreleased footage. It was released on January 2, 2020.
On July 23 and 30, 2020, a two-part special was aired in lieu of a second season under the title Hello Pro Kouhaku Taiko THE☆BATTLE 2020 ~Ano Atsuki Battle wo Futatabi SP~ (ハロプロ紅白対抗 ザ☆バトル2020 ~あの熱きバトルを再びSP~). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only select Hello! Project members competed, and they participated in games modified to comply with social distancing regulations.[1]
