Hello! Project 2021 Summer Sapphire & Ruby is Hello! Project's annual summer concert tour. It took place from July 17 to September 5, 2021.
For the tour, the members were split into two teams: Sapphire and Ruby, and they would be singing old and new songs from the Hello! Project catalog. Each concert featured one of the teams.
In compliance with government policy due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, cheering, crowding, and closeness in the venue are prohibited, the venues were filled to 50% capacity, and wearing masks were required to enter.[1]
A footage of the final two concerts held in TACHIKAWA STAGE GARDEN will be released in DVD and Blu-ray on December 22, 2021.

Absentees[]
- Morning Musume '21 member Sato Masaki was absent from the whole tour due to her being diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome.[2]
- On July 25, it was announced that ANGERME member Ise Layla would be absent from the July 25 concerts due to being in poor health conditions.[3] Later in the day, it was revealed that Ise was confirmed to be diagnosed with the COVID-19. Ise was feeling some symptoms of sore throat and mild fever, and after a PCR test, she was confirmed to have tested positive for COVID-19. Her condition is stable and she will concentrate on her treatment under the direction of health centers and medical institutions. She was absent from the July 31 concert.[4][5] On August 6, it was announced that Ise completed her self-quarantine period, and after testing negative for the virus, she resumed activities and would perform in the August 8 concert.[6]
- On July 29, it was announced that ANGERME member Sasaki Rikako would be temporarily halting activities after getting classified as a close contact by the public health center after doing a PCR test, therefore being absent from the July 31 concert.[7][5] On August 6, it was announced that Sasaki completed her self-quarantine period, and after testing negative for the virus, she will be resuming activities and would perform in the August 8 concert.[6]
- On July 30, it was announced that Morning Musume '21 member Fukumura Mizuki would be absent from the July 31 concert due to her being classified as a close contact by the public health center after one member of her family was confirmed to be diagnosed with COVID-19.[5] On August 6, an update on Hello! Project's website announced that Fukumura would be absent from the August 7, 8, 15 and 21 concerts as another member of her family tested positive for COVID-19, and as a close contact, she would remain doing self-quarantine.[6] She resumed activities in the August 28 concert.[8]
- ^ On August 19, it was announced that Morning Musume' 21 member Oda Sakura was diagnosed with functional dysphonia as result of a medical examination due to her throat conditions at that time. Due to this, she remained participating of the tour but was restricted to dancing only for the remaining dates while undergoing medical treatment.[9]
- Hello Pro Kenshuusei Unit members Yonemura Kirara, Ishiguri Kanami, Kubota Nanami and Saito Madoka were absent from the September 4 and 5 concerts due to a schedule conflict with the Miyamoto Karin LIVE 2021 ~Dahlia~, where they appeared as a support act.[10]

Trivia[]
- The colors of the teams makes reference to the colors of the 2020 Summer Olympics and the Paralympics' mascots Miraitowa and Someity. The tour was also concurrent with both Olympics and Paralympics events, which happened in Japan during July to September.
- During the rehearsals for the August 28 concert, ANGERME member Kamikokuryo Moe accidentally bumped her mic on her left eye and she had to wear an eye pad at the concert.[11]
- This is the last Hello! Project tour to feature Juice=Juice member Kanazawa Tomoko.
