Hello! Project 2020 Summer COVERS ~The Ballad~ is Hello! Project's annual summer concert tour. It took place from July 11 to September 5, 2020.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the concerts featured the members performing solo covers of famous J-Pop ballads by artists outside of Hello! Project. The members were split into three teams, with each team performing in a different time slot during the day.
In compliance with government policy to prevent the spread of the virus, cheering, crowding, and closeness in the venue were prohibited, the venues were filled to 50% capacity, and wearing masks was required to enter. In addition, concert goods were not available at the venues, and were sold exclusively through e-lineUP! Mall.[1]

Other Hello! Project members would later also perform solo covers of other famous J-Pop ballad songs which were also uploaded to YouTube.
- On August 11, as promotion for the concert tour, Miyamoto Karin and Kiyono Momohime appeared on NHK World show J-MELO to individually perform solo covers of famous J-Pop ballad songs "Olivia wo Kikinagara" and "Kousui" respectively.
