Hello! Anison Bu (ハロー!アニソン部 Hello! Project Anime Song Club), or HaroAni (はろあに) for short, is a YouTube show featuring Hello! Project members singing covers of anime songs and a club within Hello! Project of the members who like anime and participate in the show.
Videos are uploaded on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 19:00 JST on the official Youtube channel. The first video announcing the channel's activities was uploaded on June 4, 2020, and the first episode was uploaded on June 11, 2020.
The channel was pitched by Iikubo Haruna, who serves as MC of the show and president of the club. In each episode, the featured member talk about the anime the song they're singing is from, and are sometimes given a quiz about the anime, before singing a solo cover of the song. Most episodes feature two songs by different members. Suggestions for songs and content are accepted via YouTube comments and on Twitter under the hashtag #はろあに. The current goal of the channel is to reach 100 covers of anime songs. [1]
The goal of 100 songs was reached upon episode #73, uploaded July 27, 2021. With the goal reached it was announced that regular updates would be temporarily paused.[2]
