Kishimoto Yumeno (岸本ゆめの) is a Japanese pop singer. She is a former idol under Hello! Project as a member of Tsubaki Factory. She was introduced at the Hello Pro Kenshuusei Happyoukai 2012 ~12gatsu no Nama Tamago Show!~ concert on December 9, 2012.[2]

She graduated from the group and Hello! Project at the end of Tsubaki Factory's 2023 fall concert tour on November 6 in order to become a soloist.[3]

Early Life[]

Kishimoto Yumeno was born on April 1, 2000 in Osaka, Japan to a couple whose names are undisclosed.

Prior to auditioning for the Morning Musume 11ki Member "Suppin Utahime" Audition, she was a child actress under NAC.

2012[]

In 2012, Kishimoto auditioned for Morning Musume's 11th generation. Her audition number was #32 and she made it to the final round, but in the end she was not chosen to enter the group.

On November 20, it was announced that Kishimoto would be joining Hello Pro Kenshuusei alongside five other girls. She was officially introduced on December 9 at the Hello! Pro Kenshuusei Happyoukai 2012 ~12gatsu no Nama Tamago Show!~ alongside Kanazawa TomokoKaga KaedeWada SakurakoMakino Maria, and Ichioka Reina.[2]

2013[]

On March 5, a fanclub event was held for Kishimoto and Kanazawa Tomoko.

On November 9, Kishimoto participated as a back-up dancer for the Morning Musume Concert Tour 2013 Aki ~CHANCE!~ in Hyogo.

2014[]

From March 1 to April 29, Kishimoto participated as a back-up dancer in the Berryz Koubou Debut 10shuunen Kinen Concert Tour 2014 ~Real Berryz Koubou~.

At the Hello Pro Kenshuusei Happyoukai 2014 ~Haru no Koukai Jitsuryoku Shindan Test~, she won the best character award for her performance of "REAL LOVE".

2015[]

On April 29, it was announced that Kishimoto would debut in the new Hello Pro Kenshuusei unit named Tsubaki Factory alongside Yamagishi Riko, Niinuma Kisora, Asakura Kiki, Ogata Risa and Tanimoto Ami.[4][5][6]

2017[]

On April 3, Kishimoto celebrated her 17th birthday at a fanclub event titled Tsubaki Factory Kishimoto Yumeno Birthday Event 2017, featuring two shows at Shinjuku ReNY.

2018[]

On April 3, she celebrated 18th birthday at a fanclub event titled Tsubaki Factory Kishimoto Yumeno Birthday Event 2018, featuring two shows at TOKYO FM HALL.

On July 25, the comedian duo Joujou Gundan released their debut single "Nakama", which features Kishimoto in the B-side "Kansha Kangeki Maji Manji" as a member of the fictional group Otome Manji Gakuen with Sawayaka Goro and Onoda Saori.[7][8]

2019[]

On March 30, Kishimoto along with Yajima Maimi, Nakajima Saki, Juice=Juice's Takagi Sayuki, and LoVendoЯ's Okada Marina released the digital song "Koisuru! Sakana Hen" which will be performed for the first time in the "Fishing Club" Special Stage event at Asobu. Kurasu. Sodateru. SATOYAMA & SATOUMI e Ikou 2019 on the same day.[9]

On April 1, she celebrated her 19th birthday at a fanclub event titled Tsubaki Factory Kishimoto Yumeno Birthday Event 2019, featuring two shows at Shinjuku ReNY.

On October 5, the Hello Tsu PHOTOBOOK① was released, including Kishimoto's gravure that was originally published in a July 2018 issue of Weekly Famitsu.[10]\

2020[]

On January 7, Kishimoto made her first appearance as a Tuesday regular personality on the radio show 60TRYbu, which she would rotate each week with Takeuchi Akari who has been on the show since 2015.[11][12]

On April 1, she was scheduled to celebrate her 20th birthday at a fanclub event titled Tsubaki Factory Kishimoto Yumeno Birthday Event 2020, featuring two shows at Shinjuku ReNY. However, it was cancelled in consideration of a new policy established by the government to prevent the spread of COVID-19.[13] The event was later rescheduled.

On May 14, she opened up an official Instagram account.[14]

2021[]

On April 1, she celebrated her 21st birthday at a fanclub event titled Tsubaki Factory Kishimoto Yumeno Birthday Event 2021, featuring two shows at LANDMARK HALL in Kanagawa.

2022[]

On April 6, she celebrated her 22nd birthday at a fanclub event titled Tsubaki Factory Kishimoto Yumeno Birthday Event 2022, featuring two shows at LANDMARK HALL in Kanagawa.

On May 31, it was announced Kishimoto Yumeno was diagnosed with pulmonary thromboembolism and would be absent from the June 4 shows of the Hello! Project 2022 Spring CITY CIRCUIT Tsubaki Factory CONCERT TOUR ~PARADE~. She complained of being in poor physical condition on May 29, and went to see a doctor at a hospital the next day. As a result of her condition, she would be hospitalized until further notice. The timing of her return would depend on the progress of her recovery and consultation with her doctor.[15] On June 27, it was announced that Kishimoto would be resuming her activities with the release event of Tsubaki Factory's 9th single in CLUB CITTA on June 29 due to the good progress of her treatment. It was also announced that despite her return, she will be doing activities with her physical condition being checked prior to.[16]

On August 13, it was announced that Kishimoto Yumeno had been diagnosed with COVID-19. On August 11, she had symptoms of fever and sore throat, and took a PCR test which came back positive on August 13. She will focus on treatment under the guidance of local governments and public health centers.[17]

2023[]

On April 13, it was announced that Kishimoto and Yamagishi Riko will be graduating from Tsubaki Factory and Hello! Project at the end of the group's upcoming fall concert tour. Kishimoto will be graduating from the group in order to start solo activities. In her announcement, she also shared that she wants to express herself in various ways not only by singing, but also by writing, speaking, fashion and fitness.[3]

On April 24, she celebrated her 23rd birthday at a fanclub event titled Tsubaki Factory Kishimoto Yumeno Birthday Event 2023, featuring two shows at LANDMARK HALL in Kanagawa.

On June 23, it was announced that she had been diagnosed with adjustment disorder and would be taking a month-long hiatus in order to rest and receive hospital treatment.[18] On July 31, a new update announced that despite her condition being better since the initial announcement she would need outpatient treatment for her diagnosis, therefore extending her hiatus. As result, she was absent from Tsubaki Factory CONCERT TOUR ~Shunkan~ Encore, Tsubaki Factory no Natsu Matsuri 2023 ~Shakunetsu~, and from the festival appearances Tsubaki Factory were scheduled to attend from August 4 to August 26.[19] On August 31, a new update announced that she would be absent from the Hello! Project 25th ANNIVERSARY CONCERT on September 9 and 10, and from the public recording event of Ikuze! Tsubaki Factory on September 17 in order to continue with her outpatient treatment.[20] Due to her treatment, she was absent from Tsubaki Factory's 11th single "Yuuki It's my Life! / Mousou Dake Nara Freedom / Demo... Ii yo".

On September 21, it was announced that Kishimoto's symptoms had improved and she was given permission by the doctor to resume her activities. She resumed her activities in Tsubaki Factory with the opening date of Tsubaki Factory Concert Tour 2023 Aki "Atarayo" on October 7, and she is also scheduled to participate in their first overseas concert in Taiwan and Hong Kong. It was also revealed that her graduation is set for November 6 with the final concert of the Tsubaki Factory Concert Tour 2023 Aki "Atarayo" at Nippon Budokan.[21]

On November 6, Kishimoto officially graduated from Tsubaki Factory and Hello! Project alongside Yamagishi Riko at the Tsubaki Factory Concert Tour 2023 Aki Atarayo ~Yamagishi Riko ・ Kishimoto Yumeno Sotsugyou Special~ Akatsuki. The day after, she released her graduation song "BE" digitally.[22]

2024[]

On January 11, it was announced that she had joined UP-FRONT management affiliate YU-M Entertainment as a talent.[23]

On April 1, she will start solo activities with the release of her first song "BLUEMOON BLUES".[24]

Personal Life[]

Kishimoto has an older sister, who gave birth to a daughter on July 1, 2015.[25]

When Kishimoto joined Hello Pro Kenshuusei in November 2012, she was a first year middle school student.[2] She graduated from high school in March 2018.
