Matsuda Yoshiyuki (松田善之) known by his pseudonym NOBE is a Japanese lyricist. He was the MC of the former hip-hop unit INFLAVA.[1]
Biography[]
Matsuda Yoshiyuki was born on August 23, 1980, in Okayama City, Okayama, Japan. He graduated from Shitennoji University in Osaka Prefecture.
In 2008, he debuted under Universal Japan as a member of INFLAVA. During this time, some of his songwriting credits for other groups would use the "INFLAVA" name. After the group disbanded in 2010,[2] Matsuda began writing lyrics as a freelance artist and would be credited under his own name.
In 2019, Matsuda quit his part-time job at KFC after the location closed.[3] He joked that he'd started working there because he couldn't eat only writing lyrics and stayed on for ten years even after being able to live off his work in music. The company's official account replied to thank him for his service.[4]
He has written lyrics for various Hello! Project artists and other idol groups such as Momoiro Clover Z and Dempagumi.inc.
