    • History[]

    2009-2010[]

    M-line club began operating in April 2009 under UP-FRONT INTERNATIONAL alongside separate fanclubs for Matsuura Aya and Melon Kinenbi. The founding members were the following Elder Club graduates: Nakazawa Yuko, Iida Kaori, Abe Natsumi, Yasuda Kei, Yaguchi Mari, Ishikawa Rika, Yoshizawa Hitomi, Ogawa Makoto, Fujimoto Miki, and Tsuji Nozomi; as well as Satoda Mai, Konno Asami, Korenaga Miki, Noto Arisa, and Sengoku Minami all under Ongaku Gatas.[1]

    On December 28, 2009, it was announced that Satoda Mai, Korenaga Miki, Noto Arisa, and Sengoku Minami would leave the fanclub as of April 2010.[2]

    On July 1, 2010, Kusumi Koharu joined.[3]

    2011-2013[]

    On March 31, 2011, Konno Asami left UP-FRONT GROUP and M-line club to join TV Tokyo.[4]

    On October 3, 2011, Takahashi Ai joined.[5]

    On May 21, 2012, Niigaki Risa joined.[6]

    In March 2013, Mano Erina joined.[7]

    In June 2013, Tanaka Reina, Okada Marina, Uozumi Yuki, and Miyazawa Marin joined as LoVendoЯ.[8]

    As of September 17, 2013, operations were moved from UP-FRONT INTERNATIONAL to UP-FRONT CREATE.[9]

    2015-2016[]

    On March 31, 2015, Ogawa Makoto left J.P ROOM and M-line club to retire from entertainment activities.[10]

    In May 2015, Sudo Maasa and Kumai Yurina joined.[11]

    On January 24, 2016, it was announced that Abe Natsumi and Fujimoto Miki would both leave M-line club as of March 2016.[12]

    On May 20, 2016, Natsuyaki Miyabi, Kobayashi Hikaru, and Nihei Yuuka joined as PINK CRES..[13]

    On September 16, 2016, Uozumi Yuki left M-line club in accordance with her graduation from LoVendoЯ and separation with UP-FRONT CREATE.[14][15]

    On November 30, 2016, Kusumi Koharu left after she had decided not to renew her contract with J.P ROOM.[16]

    2017-2018[]

    In spring 2017, Michishige Sayumi joined.[17]

    On July 10, 2017, Yajima Maimi, Nakajima Saki, Suzuki Airi, and Okai Chisato joined.[18]

    On August 24, 2017, Shimizu Saki joined.[19]

    On December 7, 2017, Kudo Haruka announced that she would join M-line club following her graduation from Hello! Project,[20] and her profile was added to the site two days later.

    On September 28, 2018, Yoshizawa Hitomi left M-line club as a result of the termination of her contract with J.P ROOM.[21]

    On December 17, 2018, Iikubo Haruna joined the club.[22]

    2019-2020[]

    On January 16, 2019, it was announced that Mano Erina would leave M-line club as of March.[23]

    LoVendoЯ member Okada Marina left M-line club at the end of March, following her graduation from the band and the expiration of her contract with UP-FRONT CREATE.[24]

    On June 28, 2019, it was announced that LoVendoЯ was suspending activities at the end of July and would be leaving the club as a result.[25] Band member Miyazawa Marin would also be leaving the club after her decision to end her exclusive contract with UP-FRONT CREATE.[26] Tanaka Reina would remain listed as a solo talent.

    On July 10, 2019, it was announced that Miyazaki Yuka would join the club in August.[27]

    On October 1, 2019, Katsuta Rina joined the club.[28]

    On May 1, 2020, Okai Chisato left M-line club following her announcement of retirement from the entertainment industry.[29]

    On August 1, 2020, Niigaki Risa announced that she ended her exclusive contract with J.P ROOM on July 31.[30][31] She subsequently left M-line club.

    On December 11, 2020, Miyamoto Karin joined the club.[32]

    2021-2022[]

    On March 19, 2021, it was announced that PINK CRES. would be disbanding on June 30 and would be leaving the club as a result. Around the end of 2020, Kobayashi Hikaru and Nihei Yuuka discussed with Natsuyaki Miyabi about graduating from the group and, as result of the discussions and the staff respecting their decisions, the group would be disbanding on June 30 with Kobayashi and Nihei also leaving UP-FRONT CREATE. Natsuyaki will remain in the agency and will start new activities with focus on singing.[33]

    On June 1, 2021, Ogata Risa joined the club.

    On June 18, 2021, the M-line club opened an official M-line Music YouTube channel and Twitter account.[34] On June 20, the official M-line Music webpage opened, and the first video was uploaded to the channel.[35][36] On August 6, a new M-line Music web show began on the official YouTube channel, taking over the timeslot of tiny tiny.[37][38]

    On November 30, 2021, Shimizu Saki retired from the entertainment industry and ended her exclusive contract with J.P ROOM, subsequently also leaving the club.

    On April 15, 2022, Sato Masaki joined the club.[39]

    On April 21, 2022, Ozeki Mai joined the club.[40]

    On October 18, 2022, Inaba Manaka joined the club.[41]

    2023-2024[]

    On June 12, 2023, Asakura Kiki joined the club.[42]

    On July 14, 2023, Takeuchi Akari joined the club. [43]

    On January 9, 2024, Yamagishi Riko joined the club.[44]

    On February 13, 2024, a new unit formed with the M-line club members Sato Masaki, Miyamoto Karin, Inaba Manaka, Ozeki Mai and Ogata Risa named SIOOM (from M-line Music) would be singing the ending theme of the MBS's drama Cinderella Complex, which is a cover of the song "C\C (Cinderella\Complex)" originally released by the unit High-King in 2008. This new version was titled "C\C (Cinderella\Complex) '24" and will be released digitally on March 1, following the airing of the first episode of the drama.[45][46]

    Name Meaning[]

    The "M" in M-Line stands for: Music, Mind, Memory, Material, Message, Might and Movement. Connecting these many "M"s with a Line creates the important words Mate and Make. These are just some of the meanings of the M-Line. [47]
