Kagayaite ~My dream goes on~ (輝いて ~My dream goes on~; Shining ~My dream goes on~) is Tamura Meimi's solo debut single. It was pre-released for digital download on August 22, 2018 and was later released as a CD on September 26, 2018 in three editions: one regular and two limited.[1][2] First press of the CDs came with an entrance ticket to an event on October 30, 2018 commemorating the single release and Tamura's 20th birthday.[3]

The regular edition includes the bonus track "Lovin' you", which is a cover of Minnie Riperton's 1975 single. Limited edition A includes a DVD with a recording of her May 12, 2018 one-man live at Shibuya duo MUSIC EXCHANGE. Limited edition B includes a book featuring gravure photos taken overseas, stage photos from her one-man live, and a special long interview.[3]

Tamura also receives her first songwriting credit as the lyricist for the coupling track "Summertime".[4]

The "Kagayaite ~My dream goes on~" music video became available for digital download on September 12, 2018,[5] and the "Lovin' you" music video became available on October 17, 2018.[6]

  • "Kagayaite ~My dream goes on~" is described as a fusion of pop and musical theater, similar to the style of the musical film The Greatest Showman.[4]
