Ise Layla (伊勢鈴蘭; also written as Ise Reira) is a Japanese pop singer under Hello! Project as a 7th generation member of ANGERME.[2]

Early Life[]
Ise Layla was born on January 19, 2004 in Hokkaido, Japan.
2016[]
Ise participated in the Morning Musume '16 Shinseiki Audition. She made it to the final round, but was not chosen to join Morning Musume '16. She was subsequently offered a position in Hello Pro Kenshuusei, but declined.[3]
2018[]
In the summer, Ise took part in the Hello! Project "ONLY YOU" Audition after her sister sent in an application for her without her permission.[4] She made it to the third round,[5] but failed to become a finalist. In spite of this, she won the audition and was selected to join ANGERME instead of BEYOOOOONDS.[6]
On November 23, Ise was revealed as a new member of ANGERME alongside Hello Pro Kenshuusei Hokkaido member Oota Haruka during the ANGERME 2018 Aki "Denkousekka" concert at Pacifico Yokohama.[2][7] She and Oota would start performing with the group after the new year in the Hello! Project 20th Anniversary!! Hello! Project 2019 WINTER concert tour.[4]
2019[]
From March 9, Ise starred in PIZZA-LA's "Yokubari Quarter" spring 2019 commercial campaign with Degawa Tetsuro and fellow ANGERME members Sasaki Rikako, Kamikokuryo Moe, and Funaki Musubu.[8][9]
2020[]
On January 20, Ise celebrated her 16th birthday at a fanclub event titled ANGERME Ise Layla Birthday Event 2020, featuring two shows at TOKYO FM HALL.
On July 13, it was announced that she would be one of several current and former Hello! Project members starring in a new horror television drama based on the book, Hobonichi no Kaidan. The drama began airing in August 2020.[10][11][12]
2021[]
On January 19, Ise celebrated her 17th birthday at a fanclub event titled ANGERME Ise Layla Birthday Event 2021, featuring two shows at LANDMARK HALL.
On July 25, it was announced that Ise Layla was confirmed to be diagnosed with COVID-19. Earlier in the day, it was revealed on ANGERME's Twitter account that she would be absent from the Hello! Project 2021 Summer Sapphire & Ruby concerts of the day due to being in poor health condition,[13] and it was later revealed on Hello! Project's website that she was diagnosed with COVID-19. Ise Layla was feeling some symptoms of sore throat and mild fever, and after doing a PCR test, she was confirmed to have tested positive for COVID-19. Her condition is stable and she will concentrate on her treatment under the direction of health centers and medical institutions. Her future appearances in concerts or events will be informed as soon as they are decided.[14]
On August 6, it was announced that all Hello! Project members, managers, and tour staff had underwent PCR tests earlier in the week, and all of them had tested negative. As a result, the Hello! Project 2021 Summer Sapphire & Ruby show at Nakano Sun Plaza on August 8 will proceed as planned. Ise Layla and Sasaki Rikako had also taken PCR tests after their quarantine period, and had also tested negative. They will subsequently return to activities.[15]
2022[]
On January 19, Ise celebrated her 18th birthday at a fanclub event titled ANGERME Ise Layla Birthday Event 2022, featuring two shows at Shintoshi Hall.
2023[]
On January 19, Ise celebrated her 19th birthday at a fanclub event titled ANGERME Ise Layla Birthday Event 2023, featuring two shows at Sunpearl Arakawa.
On June 27, it was announced that she would be replacing Takeuchi Akari as the Tuesday regular for the radio show 60TRYBu following Takeuchi's graduation from the group. [16]
On July 17, it was announced that Ise was diagnosed with COVID-19. As result, her individual and 2-shot release events of ANGERME's 32nd single "Ai no Kedamono / Dousousei" would be transferred to a new date and would be also available for refund.[17] On July 21, a new update announced that Ise would be absent from the July 22 concert of the Hello! Project 2023 Summer CITY CIRCUIT ANGERME CONCERT TOUR "BIG LOVE" ENCORE and from "Ai no Kedamono / Dousousei" release event on July 23 as she was still in poor physical condition.[18]
On December 7, she took part in Hello! Project 25 Shunnen Kinen Special FC Event Vol.3 alongside Oda Sakura, Haga Akane, Yokoyama Reina, Kawana Rin, Niinuma Kisora, Yamazaki Yuhane, Saito Madoka and Tsutsui Roko at Yamano Hall. This event covered the 2011-2016 era of Hello! Project's history.
2024[]
On January 18, Ise celebrated her 20th birthday at a fanclub event titled ANGERME Ise Layla Birthday Event 2024, featuring two shows at Tower Hall Funabori.
Personal Life[]
She has an older sister.[4]
When Ise joined ANGERME, she was in her third year of middle school.[2] She graduated from middle school in March 2019[19] and would begin high school the following April. She graduated from high school in March 2022.

- Because she was not a Kenshuusei and did not have any stage experience, Layla said she was nervous during rehearsals for her first time on stage, but became excited after standing in front of the audience.[4]
- Layla admitted that she was not a Hello! Project fan when she auditioned, but dreamed of becoming an idol since she was in kindergarten.[4]
