Elegies (エレジーズ) was a Hello! Project shuffle group formed in 2005, alongside Sexy Otonajan and Puripuri Pink. The group name comes from the word elegy, a type of poetry. The main verse of the song consists of a series of Japanese Shiritori rhyme. The shuffle unit ‘Elegies’ was Tsunku’s way of trying out his new word-play/trendy poetry style of lyrics.
