  • "Da Dan Dance!" is a lively dance song with a "cute adult" theme focused on Saho Akari and Sekine Azusa. It is their first song to have a style similar to those of character songs.[2]
  • "Heat Beat Island" is a party song with Latin and Dasa-Kakkoii influence. The song's choreography was created by Furukawa Konatsu.[2]
  • "5 to the 5th Power" is a self-introduction song with the same name as the ongoing Up Up Girls (Kari) Live House Tour 2019 5 to the 5th Power at the time of the single's release.[2] Much like Morning Musume's Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari, "5 to the 5th Power" features the members singing about each other.
  • The single was released exactly 54 days after their 8th anniversary on May 3 (the date their seventh member Saho Akari joined the group), and is their first single to be released during their 9th year as a group.[3]
