Tsunku's comments about the single:[1]
"I was imagining the warm days between Golden Week (Is it an obsolete term nowadays?) (n.b. Japanese statutory holiday week in May) and summer holidays (n.b. Around July 20- August 20). I produced it with a reggae rhythm, topped with West Coast flavor to create the sound of early summer days. During the song, the tempo rises and falls by 6BPM. Did you guys notice that? The idea came to me during the recording session. The girls were a bit struggling to grasp the rhythm at first, but they learned to feel the rhythm and seemed to be enjoying the singing session. When you listen to the song, please especially enjoy these creative sections." |
