A release event for the single was held on April 3, 2013 (the released date of the single) at Ikebukuro Sunshine City Fountain Square. At this event, a voice message from Tsunku announced their ℃-ute no Hi concert at Nippon Budokan and their concert in Paris, France.

  • The single was originally rumored by the same anonymous 2chan user who released information about "Kono Machi" weeks prior to its announcement. Online retailers Bic Camera[1] and CDJapan[2] confirmed the release date. The single was officially confirmed on February 14, 2013, during ℃-ute's Valentine's Day radio show, which was broadcasted during the Nakajima Saki no Cute na Jikan time slot.
  • Jacket photoshoots and filming of the music video began on February 16, 2013.
  • When a Twitter user asked Tsunku how they should anticipate ℃-ute's upcoming single, Tsunku replied that it'll make people wet their pants.
  • Okai Chisato blogged that the music video would be sexy and cool, and Suzuki Airi blogged that the song was a mixture of mature, sexy, and cool.
  • Yajima Maimi blogged that the dance number to "Crazy Kanzen na Otona" was to choreographed to their own desires, like "Kiss me Aishiteru".
  • According to Tsunku' Comments:
    • "The Treasure☆Box" is an awesome song and he hopes the fans look towards it.

  • This is the first single of ℃-ute to sell more than 50,000 copies.
  • It is one of 11 music videos for a single that has over 1,000,000 views on ℃-ute's official YouTube channel.
  • The dance shot version has also reached over 1,000,000 views, only one of three dance shot videos to achieve this (the others being "Dance de Bakoon!" and "Kiss me Aishiteru")
