Hello Pro Kenshuusei Tests

Since 2013, Hello Pro Kenshuusei has held annual public testing events at Nakano Sun Plaza, in which all the members perform a solo of their choice and receive feedback from a panel of judges.

At the end of the event, the judges discuss who impressed them the most in three separate categories: Singing, Dancing and Character, while the fans cast "public votes" for who delivered the Best Performance. The Hello Pro Kenshuusei are then brought back to the stage, where the winners are announced and receive awards.

The annual one-day event, usually held between May 3 to May 6, is well-anticipated among fans.

Trivia[]

• Leading up to the event, lottery videos determining the order in which the members perform were posted to the official Hello Pro Kenshuusei YouTube channel. As of 2022, they are posted to OMAKE CHANNEL.
• The 2020 and 2021 events were held without live audience due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with both events being broadcasted online instead.
  • As of 2022, the events were able to have live audiences again, but also continued to be broadcast online.
• The most fan votes cast for one member is currently 1318. (Kawashima Mifu, 2023)
