9th Generation Morning Musume

The 9th Generation Morning Musume members joined the group on January 2, 2011, three new members joined after passing the Morning Musume 9ki Audition, while Fukumura Mizuki was added as a surprise addition from Hello Pro Egg.

This generation consists of 4 members:

• Fukumura Mizuki (譜久村聖)
• Ikuta Erina (生田衣梨奈)
• Sayashi Riho (鞘師里保)
• Suzuki Kanon (鈴木香音)

Timeline[]

• January 2, 2011: Joined.
• May 21, 2013: Fukumura Mizuki is appointed as one of the joint sub-leaders of Morning Musume.
• November 27, 2014: Fukumura Mizuki becomes the new leader of Morning Musume, while Ikuta Erina becomes one of the joint sub-leaders.
• December 31, 2015: Sayashi Riho graduates from Morning Musume.
• May 31, 2016: Suzuki Kanon graduates from Morning Musume and Hello! Project, and retires from entertainment.
• November 29, 2023: Fukumura Mizuki graduates from Morning Musume and Hello! Project.
• November 30, 2023: Ikuta Erina becomes the new leader of Morning Musume.
