Trivia [ ]
The album was announced in episode #306 of Hello! Project Station on September 11, 2019.[14]
A series of lives to commemorate the album's release, titled LIVE BEYOOOOOND1St , was held from December 2 to December 17, 2019.[15]
The Regular Edition cover is reminiscent of the cover of PANIC THE WORLD by the 1980s idol group Onyanko Club .
The "Atsui!" music video contains numerous parodies and references, including but not limited to:
"Takanawa Gateway Eki ga Dekiru Koro ni wa" is about the Takanawa Gateway Station , which was still under construction at the time of the album's release. When the construction of the train station was completed, Ichioka Reina posted a congratulatory tweet to the BEYOOOONDS Official Twitter with a video clip of CHICA#TETSU performing the song live at LIVE BEYOOOOOND1St .[16]
BEYOOOOONDS has the second highest selling debut album out of the current Hello! Project groups, being surpassed only by Morning Musume .
"Gannen Bungee Jump" is about how 2019, the year the album released, is the "Gannen" or first year of the imperial Reiwa era in Japan. For future performances after 2019, the lyrics and the title are slightly changed every year the song is performed.
In 2020, the second year of the Reiwa era, the song was renamed as "Shinnen Bungee Jump" (新年バンジージャンプ; New Year Bungee Jump ).
In 2021, the third year of the Reiwa era, song was renamed as "Sannen Bungee Jump" (三年バンジージャンプ; Third Year Bungee Jump ).
In 2022, the fourth year of the Reiwa era, the song was renamed as "Yonnen Bungee Jump" (四年バンジージャンプ; Fourth Year Bungee Jump ).
In 2023, the fifth year of the Reiwa era, the song was renamed as "Gonen Bungee Jump" (五年バンジージャンプ; Fifth Year Bungee Jump ).
In 2024, the sixth year of the Reiwa era, the song was renamed as "Rokunen Bungee Jump" (六年バンジージャンプ; Sixth Year Bungee Jump ).
