<p>Since a few people showed interest in adding some sort of random quote to the front page, I figured I should test how it might look. Here are some of the results.

</figcaption></figure>Just straight up using the Quote template in the same way as on the individual member pages looks pretty decent. No picture, though.

</figcaption></figure>Pyo-kiyo suggested using the MB template, but I don't think that'll work very well. The size just doesn't quite work either to be beside or above/below the quote, and since it's not like a regular image the text doesn't flow around it.

</figcaption></figure>Using a regular image thumbnail and ditching the Quote template doesn't look bad. Anoter advantage over using the MB template is we could go with images from the same period as the quote, like here I've used a December 2015 Maria pic to go with the November 2015 quote. You can't tell in this image, but her name in this test is a link, it's just hidden similar to the section heading links on the page.

</figcaption></figure>Since I was testing possibilities I did also try having a much wider quote at the top of the page above everything, but I don't think it really works. I'm kind of glad, because I'd really rather not shove down everything in the large part of the front page down too.
